Today, DIVArchive supports more than 37 petabytes of content across all customer sites, far more than any competitor. In a report entitled "The Broadcast Value Chain", published by Datamonitor in 2005, Front Porch Digital is described as the “global leader” of the industry based on quality of technology, market share and customer references.

Innovation

Front Porch is an innovator in Content Storage Management technology. The company was the first to introduce what are now mission-critical functions within many broadcast operations such as dynamic allocation of resources, timecode-based partial restore, integrated transcoding in the archive workflow, and application filtering.

In December of 2005, the Company's DIVAworks 'archive in a box' solution, featuring a full instance of DIVArchive in a plug-and-play appliance, won the "Technology in Content Management" award from the Royal Television Society of the United Kingdom. As further evidence of our technology leadership, Front Porch Digital has been awarded US Patents (#6,947,598, #7,035,468 and #7,110,664) for 'methods and apparatus' to cover key concepts within our products. As a result, our intellectual properties, and our customers, are protected against potential cases of infringement. Additional
patents are pending.

Front Porch continues to invest heavily in new product innovation with an eye toward open standards. As soon as it is approved, Front Porch will adopt the new SMPTE standard for digital archive management. The company is the first and currently the only broadcast archive management vendor to make this important commitment. In addition, during the coming year, we will continue to add development, testing and validation personnel and equipment within our Mt. Laurel, NJ labs. We will also be executing on a well-defined product roadmap of new features and functionality designed to improve the utility, scalability and reliability of our market-leading products.

Customer Satisfaction

Our customers are very satisfied with Front Porch as indicated by the fact that 19 of our customers now operate DIVArchive in more than one facility. In fact, several have deployed DIVArchive in at least five global locations. We also see a significant amount of repeat business as customers purchase additional functionality introduced in new versions of DIVArchive or for other additional products.
