NOB Cross Media Facilities assists to the best of its ability the broadcasting companies and other providers of moving images and sound in the Netherlands in the broadcasting process: arranging connections, storing, encoding and transporting audio-visual material and suchlike. To be able to offer 'the best of the latest', we are also continuously involved in the development of new techniques and standards. For example, together with other parties, we are working on the construction of a digital 'broadcasting platform'. This will be used to distribute programmes via both radio and TV and over Internet (including broadband) and other digital networks, mobile and otherwise.
