With DIVArchive, RTL-TVI can now fulfill the last-minute deadlines of journalists and management by immediately accessing and using news media stored in their archive systems. Front Porch Digital's DIVArchive software and architecture stores RTL-TVI's news programs on fast-access disks for immediate use, and on low-cost archive tapes for all other uses. The DIVArchive software manages the transfer of digital content from the video servers to storage and archive resources while lowering operating costs through the elimination of manual tape handling.
