Teleclub, Switzerland 's first German-speaking pay-TV broadcaster, has implemented a DIVArchive (Distributed Intelligent Versatile Archive) solution. DIVArchive better enables Teleclub to manage their main video content repository, resulting in streamlined operations and improved quality of programming services on their advanced digital network.
Teleclub uses DIVArchive to manage hundreds of movies and TV spots for its 85,000 subscribers' movie selections. DIVArchive tightly couples video servers and management software with the entire digital play-to-air system. Teleclub's DIVArchive implementation is running on redundant NT and UNIX platforms. DIVArchive manages tape resources on StorageTek equipment, connects to Leitch video servers, and interfaces with an automation system via the VACP protocol from Harris Automation Solutions.
